Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Looks like we've sold well under 10K currently, bearing in mind the game is in 8 days and tickets went on sale long before we knew the opponents.
Somewhere between 20K and 30K max but probably the lower end unless they drop the price

Rail strike?

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
They’ve got the pricing massively wrong.

I bought 3 yesterday in our season tickets for my Nephew and in-laws - £55 for the 3 seats band 3.

Oap ST £20 non ST £25
ST kid £15

Kids for a quid £10 for OAPs £15-25 for Adults would have seen a much better return.

As mentioned rail strike too.

People like me on holiday

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
It's definitely the rail strike, and the fact it'll be on telly. Bit of 'cost of living' and the summer holiday factor as well?

I actually got a ticket in the hope we'd be at home on 25th but I'm not 100% sure I'll bother going as getting back will be a right pain and it will be on the box anyway.

They probably have got the pricing a little wrong too, given it's 'only' a playoff.

£10 a ticket sees about 40-50k attendance, even with the strike.

Just had a look for flights for the away leg. Cheapest was £299. Yours.

I've purchased - can't go, rail strike. Club won't entertain even their pathetic value for money resale policy. If nobody I know wants it, happy to forward to somebody. Assuming it can electronically be done.
IRONS !!

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
All the above is true plus no real jeopardy with it being the first leg. Rail strike or not it would have been better attended if the result of the tie was known at the end of this game.

Dont tend to go to friendlies, early League Cup rounds or qualifiers like this so wont be there.
Agree that about £10 for adults & kids for a quid (or nothing) would be about right.
Its the equivalent of a second round League Cup tie v Hartlepool so should be priced as such.

The strike has been known about for weeks. Have the club done anything to get it moved to the Wednesday?

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Greedy marketing gone horribly wrong.

Holidays, train strike, cost of living etc, lower calibre European team = £10 a ticket at most- kids a quid.

Could be that the ticket site is a shambles. I’ve been trying for two days to buy them but it keeps timing out.

Less than 20k sold, more like 15k
Train strike being a major factor and absurd ticket prices.
Desperate texts sent today from our social media department. Not made a hot of difference.
Better news for the Brighton game which is all but sold out the there must be more than 1k STHs on the exchange

Why are you so obsessed with attendances, you strange cunt?

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
The club is expecting . The attendance to be between 30 to 33 000 so obviously more tickets have been sold than some here are claiming. Sullivan’s greed knows no bounds the pricing for it is absolutely ridiculous . And obviously the train strike isn’t helping either .

Re: Viborg tickets not exactly rushing out the door... estimated gate?
Sp*rs got 30k for their qualifying game last season with no rail strike. So not a bad effort if we match that.

Monumental fuck up by the club not making it £10 a ticket though.

Exactly nibbles, plus why make yourself sound so fucking excited that the attendance might be a disappointing number?
